Menopause exercise middle age fitness weight training, older people women's health

The Boomers workouts are the highlight of my week!

The Boomers are a team of ladies 60+ with no significant underlying health conditions who want to burn some calories, lift some weights and a have a bit of a laugh whilst they are at it! We are always looking for new recruits.

The sessions are at 9am on Mondays and Fridays, via Zoom broadcast live from my studio on Harley Street, London.  Basic kit of a mat, two light-ish dumb bells and some resistance bands are required. I am happy to advise if this raises any questions.

What is the point?

As ladies hit the menopause and go beyond their levels of oestrogen drop, this often causes weight gain and along with this reduced quality sleep, reduction in metabolism, loss of bone density and muscle mass. These factors make it an essential time of life to start taking better care of yourself through focussed exercise.
